As well as being stationery-obsessed, I am also passionate about handwriting. There’s something magical about putting pen to paper — the flow of ink, the curves of each letter — it’s like a little piece of your personality captured on the page.

But did you know your handwriting style can reveal a lot about you? That’s where graphology comes in — the study of handwriting and how it reflects your personality. I thought it might be fun to share what your handwriting says about you so here’s what I’ve found…..

Size Matters

• Large handwriting – Outgoing, confident, and people-focused
• Small handwriting – Detail-oriented and introspective

Slant Secrets

• Right slant – Open and emotionally expressive
• Left slant – Reserved and independent
• No slant – Practical and logical

Loops and Pressure

• Big loops – Creative and free-spirited
• Tight letters – Analytical and cautious
• Heavy pressure – Passionate and intense
• Light pressure – Sensitive and empathetic

Spacing and Shape

• Wide spacing – Independent and need your space
• Tight spacing – Sociable and value connection
• Rounded letters – Creative and nurturing
• Pointed letters – Determined and ambitious

I think this makes me creative, free-spirited, people-focused and independent – so I’d say it’s pretty accurate.

The beauty of handwriting is that it evolves with you — it reflects your mood, your mindset, and even your life stage.
